How to use the Countdown to a Date
- Type a name for your event.
- Pick the date and time.
- Press Copy link to share your countdown with family or friends.
- Use Full screen to show it on a TV or monitor.
The countdown uses your device’s time zone and keeps running even after you close the page: open it again any time and it shows the time left.
Great for holidays, vacations, birthdays, exams, launches and the end of the school year.
Questions
Is my countdown saved?
Yes. The last event is saved on this device, and the shared link holds the date and name.
Will it make a sound when time is up?
Yes. You can pick a different sound in the settings under the Timer. On phones, make sure silent mode is off.
Can I get a notification in another tab?
Yes. Turn on notifications and you will get an alert when the Timer finishes while this page is open in the background.
Does it work offline or as an app?
Yes. TimerBright works offline after your first visit, and you can install it to your home screen or desktop like an app.
